The "L" Word

No.. not another Showtime series.

LICE.

*shudder*

One of my biggest phobias. My girls and I all have very long hair. Needless to say, treating for lice would be a tramatic experience. We don't have it, but Mark's friends daughter was sent home after one nurse said she did, another nurse said she didn't, neither mom nor dad could find any evidence, but treated her anyway.
Next thing you know, dad brings her over here. WTF?? Give it a few days after treating to make DAMN sure.

This is the same girl that came over and brought a pukey/diarrhea bug with her just a few months back. We were living in the one bathroom house at the time. Picture 6 out of 7 people fighting over the toilet.

Oh YAY!!

Showtime will be starting a new series this fall called "Dexter". It stars Micheal C. Hall. You know, from "Six Feet Under"? SFU is one of my favorite cable series EVER. Tied for a close second are "Tales from the crypt" and "Masters of Horror".

Hall plays a very likeable forensic specialist that moonlights as a vigilante type serial killer. At least that's the take I'm getting from previews I've seen and read.

AND......

"Masters Of Horror" Will be airing 12 new episodes in October! Woohoo!

Guilty

Yikes, been forever since I've blogged.

Hannah came home from school yesterday telling me about a video she had watched on a PSP in one of her classes. She said it was HILARIOUS, and I just had to see it. So, after a quick google search we found it and began the torturous dial up wait. The video fetures a man that supposedly has been without antidepressants and is losing it on a bunch of cats.
I think it's a bunch of crap and the guy is just an ASSHOLE. If he was truly having a bipolar moment, he wouldn't be filming it for prosperity. Despite my loathing of cats, I felt sorry for them when the clip played fully without the pauses. It's too much to handle in one flowing clip.
Although, the scene that really had me rolling was the scene in which the cat is lying in a chair glaring with narrowed eyes at the videographer, then the guy screams and the cats eyes grow to saucer proportions. I feel REALLY bad for laughing now though...
Here's the video (if this works.)
