One of my favorites from Otis Redding.
I've loved this song ever since watching "Duckie" lip snyching and dancing to it in "Pretty in Pink"wayyyyy back in the 80's.
I'm dedicating it to some friends of mine who are having problems with men that haven't figured out "if momma ain't happy, nobody is happy"
Mark goes through spells where he forgets, becomes an insensitive ass, and the terror ensues.. It's kind of like cutting his own throat. The food comes cold and tasteless, the clothes are wrinkled and the option of wearing a clean favorite is out the window. I'll wash all the clothes he'd never want to be seen in first. Then, I'll hang them on pink hangers.. in an attempt to demasculinize him.(He laughs at that one)
And sex, if you are lucky enough to get any, is hohum.
The tinyest things can make your world so much easier... bringing me back chocolate from the beer store you frequent, taking us out to dinner once in a while so I don't have a colossal mess to clean up every night once everybody is in bed. Giving me a hug when you pass by, instead of squeezing my butt.
Finally, if you expect me to not get upset about constructive criticism, try to do the same.
That's all for now. I hope all the men are behaving out there!

LOVE this song too!!!! ALWAYS think of the Duck Man when I hear this. Poor guy...he poured his heart into that song.
Sometimes I wish Tony had just an inkling of that kind of passion. I know it's there, it just doesn't come out too often.
AMEN!
